I do not collect sensitive personal data.

My services are not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this website, please contact me and I will delete it.

7. Data retention

I retain personal data only for as long as necessary:

  • Enquiry data, where someone contacts me but does not become a client, is retained for up to 12 months in case of follow-up, then deleted.

  • Client data and related records are retained for a minimum of 6 years after the end of the working relationship, in line with HMRC requirements for tax and accounting records.

  • Website analytics data is retained in line with the retention settings of the analytics provider.

 

Data that is no longer required is securely deleted.

8. How VELA Creative protects your data

I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data secure.

 

These include:

  • Password-protected accounts and two-factor authentication where available

  • Secure, reputable third-party providers for email, hosting, and scheduling

  • Restricted access to client information

  • Secure deletion of data that is no longer required

 

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
